Over the last few weeks, Peter and I have been seeing these little cartooned boxes sitting on the counter of our local comic book store. I didn’t really pay them much mind until about a week ago, when I learned what was actually in the box. Housed in these little container of mystery were Tokidoki x Marvel FRENZIES and they are FREAKIN’ ADORABLE.
Seriously, they are too damn cute. So we bought one. And then we bought another one. And then we bought 3 of them and the next day we bought three more. And now we have a small army of Tokidoki characters.
Apparently, Tokidoki won’t be making these characters anymore, so if you spot any scoop them up fast because they’re getting pretty valuable. The guys at the comic book store have been telling me that Thor, Silver Surfer and others have been going for $20 or $30, which is basically double and triple what I’ve been paying for them.
Plus, it’s really fun to see which characters you’ll get since it’s a completely blind pull. Even if you open the box, each character is wrapped in foil.
