It’s almost here! Geek Christmas, otherwise known as Free Comic Book Day! This year’s FCBD is extra special since it also falls on May the 4th, and I’m pretty sure our heads are about to explode with excitement for this weekend!
We’ll be hitting up two different comic book stores in our area for all of their awesomeness. Comic book stores play such a vital role to us geeks, so please support your local store! Here’s where we’ll be (if you live in the SFV, maybe we’ll see you there!):

Pittstop Comics

Time: 11 am to 7 pm
Pittstop is a great little comic book store down the street from our house. We love coming in here because the staff and ownership are so knowledgable and they really loves and value their customers! They’ll have free comic books available, as well as some great specials. Aside from comics, they also have some great classic and new action figures, toys and DVDs!

Collector’s Paradise

Peter & Emily have been coming to Collector’s Paradise for years, even before they met! It’s one of the best comic book stores in the Valley and has a second location in Pasadena. They are having a huge FCBD event, and will have events throughout the whole month not just on Saturday!

Collector’s will also be having a lot of signings and is offering artists sketches for $10 each with all of the proceeds going toward The One Fund, which supports the victims of the Boston Marathon Bombing.
