This may be the nerdiest day in history and we love it! We get to celebrate two things that have had such an impact on our lives and all at the same time!
We thought about cosplaying for FCDB today, but with the weather being so warm in LA, and it also being Star Wars Day, we decided to just keep it casual. And by casual, we mean awesome. Peter wore his shirt from when we saw Star Wars in Concert at the Hollywood Bowl and I wore my “May the Force Be With You” t-shirt. The mini-Star Wars posters in the top frame hang in our entry way, so they’re the first thing people see when they visit!
Collector’s Paradise had a line literally out the door, so we may hit them up during their other Saturday events this month. Pittstop Comics had a few tables set up outside and a DJ! The store was the busiest we’ve seen it, and we scored a lot of great books. Plus, Chris Hooten, the Animation Color Stylist for cartoons like Ben 10, Teen Titans & Batman Beyond, was there signing some awesome posters!
Pittstop also had some temporary tattoos. So now we’re badass nerds.
Here’s our haul! We picked up all of Age of Ultron, some Star Wars and some cool FCBD issues. Emily also got Batman: Hush!
